People always ask for my photography inspiration. Finding the colorful moments in life is my inspiration for photography.
When I was in middle school, one of my favorite things about field trips was to take my digital camera or a disposable camera. Taking pictures to remember the trip was always my favorite thing. I didn't just take pictures of people though. I was fascinated by the buildings, flowers, and the surroundings. During a trip to a cemetery along the Freedom Trail walking tour, people were confused on why I took pictures of smaller simpler graves more than the grandiose monuments. All I could say was "the lighting was right." The flowers were detailed, and the adventures were fun.
Between shoots, I love to take my camera for walks and find beauty in the every day. When the mundane becomes mystical, life becomes more enjoyable. Why just stop to SMELL the flowers? snap a quick pic so you can always bask in their beauty.
One of my favorite things about covering community events has got to be the colorful interactions between everyone. If life is a canvas, the people are the brushes. Whether it be a park bursting with music or a church hall come to life with Christmas Spirit, anything can be art.
This is what inspires Vivid & Vibrant Photography. From nature to people, let's find the colorful moments in life.
